Founded in 2016 in Paris’ Belleville neighbourhood by Australian designer Maria Lye, Toasties is an accessories brand born out of a passion for sheepskin, leather and wool. Using exclusively recycled sheepskin from the luxury fashion houses in France, Australia and Europe, Toasties saves these offcuts from reaching the rubbish, and breathes new life into the unique material using bright, bold colours. From removable woollen insoles, to mittens, scarfs, bags, purses and bike saddle covers, the Toastie aesthetic is warm, colourful and loads of fun.
