Of Origin

Inspired by the centuries-old architecture and rural landscape of Ibiza, Of Origin is a natural, eco-friendly footwear and clothing brand that uses just two fibres: jute and linen. Founder Camille Skovgaard made a name for herself as a successful footwear designer with her eponymous label, but after becoming disenchanted by the waste and the ephemeral nature of fast fashion, she moved to Ibiza, igniting a complete change of lifestyle. It was here that the Danish designer launched Of Origin, a fashion brand rooted in sustainability. Using ancient fibres that require minimal water, pesticides and fertilisers, their pared back designs are made for everyday living, in harmony with nature. Production is kept as local as possible with their unisex, jute sandals handmade in Spain, and their linen grown, spun and sewn in Lithuania. Of Origin is all about eco-conscious, Mediterannean simplicity.
