KAPLA is the abbreviation of 'Kabouter plankjes', which in Dutch means 'little leprechaun planks'. The famous KAPLA boards are the fruit of Tom van der Bruggen's imagination, as he wanted to build a miniature castle with building blocks. He then realized that little planks were more adapted to meticulous work. Starting from the fact that three layers equals a width and that five layers equals a length, it is therefore possible to create a whole range of objects: a fortified castle, a figurine, a racetrack...KAPLA boards will keep your children's imagination going forever. Cult and timeless.
