Roz Streeten the designer of Rosie Flo came up with the idea of the colouring books through her daughters. The first book came alive of hours of sitting and drawing with her daughters. They told her what to draw,dresses where the most popular item, and afterwards they would add the heads, arms and legs and simply color the drawings in. The book ended up as a collection of dresses, some eccentric, some with a vague narritive but all of them lacked the head ans limbs to give them the character of Rosie flo (a name made up from Sasha and Sophie's middle names) and this was the beginning of the Rosie Flo colouring books?
